Over my 15+ years in the electrical industry, I have come to value the insights that my customers provide. In my role as Electrical Enclosure Product Manager for Werner Electric Supply, I am regularly talking to my customers and learning more about their needs. What are their challenges? How can I help make their jobs easier? More productive? Safer?
These questions have come up recently in discussions about high voltage/low voltage wall mount enclosures to meet the NFPA 79E standards. For instance, customers have pointed out the importance of features like mechanical interlocking doors and a flange-style disconnect. But, I’d like to learn more, so I invite you to consider the following questions:
- What features do you consider essential for a low/high voltage wall mount enclosure?
- What is your application for such an enclosure?
- What are your size requirements?
- Would you like to access the low voltage section without having to suit up in arc flash gear?
